Half Moon Bay is now part of the
Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
The sanctuary includes, homes to sea elephants and California sea lions,
underwater canyons, kelp forests , the life line of the sea otters, and
the closest to shore deep water ocean environment in the Continental U.S.
This underwater world is rich and teeming with life. Come enjoy the treasures
